If so, you're just in time to help celebrate  Oregon's 150th Birthday! Many Oregon communities and Portland neighborhoods are celebrating Oregon's birthday throughout 2009. The year 2009 has been  dedicated to the people who helped shape Oregon--namely the Native Americans who were stewards of  the land, and the early Oregon Pioneers.  Just to get you in the mood to celebrate,  I've compiled a random assortment of Oregon trivia to put a smile on your face!

Admitted to the Union in 1859,  Oregon adopted the motto
"She flies with her own wings" --and we hope you'll be able to take flight when you move here!
